About C3

HOME VISITING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Creating Collaborative Communities (C3) offers home visiting program staff in the Philadelphia region three levels of engagement and learning: monthly professional development for staff, onsite training and technical assistance, and collaborative learning groups. Each month C3 offers a variety of workshops on topics such as Trauma Responsive Strategies, Strategies for Supporting Resilience + Healing, Working with Traumatized Infants + Toddlers, Promoting Cultural Understanding, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Tools.

Programs that need more specific training or who would like to dive deeper into the work can schedule site-bad workshops and targeted technical assistance to address those needs. Learning collaborative meetings for supervisors and home visitors are also regularly offered and are intended to be safe spaces where staff and supervisor voices are heard and leadership skills are strengthened through peer engagement and professional discussion.

If you have interest in any of these professional development offerings contact Ashleigh Ryans, Training Specialist, for further information (aryans@healthfederation.org).
